It’s time for a generational change and it’s quite easy for me. I am particularly pleased that I can now hand over the management of our team to my son. Marc has been part of the team for several years now and is fit for the future.
When I made the decision 15 years ago to give up my secure job at a very well-known pharmaceutical company and venture into self-employment, I had no idea what was in store for me.
Although I already had over 20 years of professional experience and many contacts with service providers and suppliers, my idea and expectation of the future was very different from what the reality of the last few years then offered me.
My adventure journey started as a small consultant office and led me to a real small company with about 10 colleagues, well-equipped laboratory and office space and brought us some super exciting projects.
We are now able to manage complex projects and develop highly complex microsystems, we do medical technology at its finest and often push the boundaries of what is physically possible – some customers would even like to go beyond that.
To go even further and shape the future together with our fantastic team, we need the energy and strength of youth.
My experience will be available to Marc and the team for a long time to come, but the generational change has taken place and now it’s the young people’s turn to set the course for the future.
